Postpartum Doula | Newborn Care Specialist | Babywearing Support | Early Childhood Educator

Stella Braun (she/her)

I am an early childhood educator, certified postpartum doula and newborn care specialist, and passionate baby-wearer! After six years of working one-on-one with children, I found my true calling in supporting newborns and their families during the tender early weeks of parenthood.

As a postpartum doula and newborn care specialist, I provide flexible, family-centered support tailored to your unique needs. My care combines support for parents with guidance in newborn care. This might look like answering your baby-specific questions, supporting feeding and soothing, tending to household needs, or offering hands-on care so you can rest. I also bring a strong foundation in newborn development, sleep shaping, and practical routines, helping your family feel rested, regulated, and confident.

As babywearing support, I provide a helping hand to ensure you and your baby are comfortable and safe. I offer carrier recommendations, troubleshooting, and “fit checks” so you can feel confident babywearing from day one.

Additionally, I offer sibling care, giving you space to bond with your new baby. My approach is grounded in attachment theory, Waldorf philosophy, and responsive caregiving, so your older children return to you happy, settled, and nourished after a few hours of play and connection.

Beyond my doula work, I am also the founder of Wild Child, a nonprofit offerings nature-based programs in Victoria for young children and their families. My passion for outdoor education and holistic learning informs all the work I do with families.

Birth, postpartum, and parenthood are remarkable journeys, and it is my honor to walk alongside families through them.
