Birth & Postpartum Doula | Prenatal & Postnatal Yoga Facilitator | Fitness Professional | Indian Head Massage Practitioner
Roxie Fehr (she/her)
Roxie offers inclusive, heart-centered care for families on their journey through pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood. She is honoured to join Island Doula’s Collective as a backup birth and postpartum doula, bringing a grounded, compassionate presence and a belief that every family deserves to feel supported, informed, and respected in their choices.
Her doula training through Awakened Spirit deepened her understanding of the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the perinatal journey. While her doula work is just beginning, Roxie draws on several years of experience supporting expectant and new parents through movement, mindfulness, and community connection.
She offers one-on-one support, group fitness and yoga classes, and Indian Head Massage sessions for people in the pre- and postpartum period. As a certified prenatal and postnatal yoga teacher, personal trainer, and group fitness leader, she creates welcoming spaces where each person can feel safe, seen, and empowered. Her classes and gatherings often weave in storytelling, poetry, and laughter, alongside evidence-informed tools for breath, movement, and relaxation.
Roxie understands that no two journeys are alike. Her approach meets people exactly where they are — whether that’s preparing for birth, navigating postpartum recovery, or finding moments of rest in the midst of it all. She is passionate about fostering community and believes that care should be as unique as the people receiving it.
Off the mat and outside of the birth space, Roxie can be found doing continuing education courses and workshops, camping, traveling, or spending good ol' quality time with her family and their young child. Life is full of adventure and love — and she is deeply grateful to be walking alongside others as they write their own parenthood stories.
